Having looked at the offense already, today we’ll take a look at the competition on the defensive side of the ball. Spring practice evaluations made the probable starters a lot clearer than they were heading into the spring, but we should still see some good competition.<\/p>\n

Safety<\/strong> \u2013 Coach Cory Peoples<\/a><\/b> returns starters Clayton Powell-Lee<\/a><\/b> and Omar Daniels<\/a><\/b> but the competition for backups in the rotation looks to be wide open. Talent is there but it is young and inexperienced.
