{"id":1019259,"date":"2026-08-23T15:40:17","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T15:40:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1019259\/"},"modified":"2026-08-23T15:40:17","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T15:40:17","slug":"stumptown-coffee-roasters-opens-new-los-angeles-flasghip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1019259\/","title":{"rendered":"Stumptown Coffee Roasters Opens New Los Angeles Flasghip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Portland-born coffee roaster transforms a historic theatre for its new outpost\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stumptowncoffee.com\/?srsltid=AfmBOooVrfVWbqzOJE0jHic6Yw1lDWdXa7DkowZ5VAzS83nbk4M_OhKc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Stumptown Coffee Roasters<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 the Portland-born\u00a0retailer,\u00a0roaster\u00a0and\u00a0third-wave coffee trailblazer \u2014 is making a grand quasi-return to Los Angeles this month\u00a0with the debut of a flagship\u00a0in\u00a0a former historic Lincoln Heights theater.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new space converts the\u00a0historic Starland Theatre into Stumptown\u2019s L.A. hub for training and retail cafe services.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSince the beginning, we\u2019ve believed our cafes should be more than places to enjoy great coffee \u2014 they should reflect the character of the neighborhoods they serve,\u201d said Julianne Pike, director of retail, of the new venue. \u201cStarland embodies that philosophy, honoring the building\u2019s history through details like its historic theater relief fa\u00e7ade and original terrazzo tile while creating a space that\u2019s warm,\u00a0welcoming\u00a0and distinctly Stumptown.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"1200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Marquee-900x1200.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-313156\" style=\"object-position: 50% 50%;\"  \/>Credit: Courtesy Stumptown Coffee Roasters<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Stumptown has had a Pasadena cafe since February 2024, the new L.A.\u00a0location marks a notable reemergence for the roaster, which closed its Arts District cafe in January 2024. The shuttering of the Santa Fe Avenue outpost came after 10 years of service. It first opened as\u00a0artisanal-forward\u00a0third-wave coffee\u00a0was peaking, leading the way alongside roasters like Blue Bottle Coffee and\u00a0Intelligentsia, and as the neighborhood experienced a thriving period.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over in Lincoln Heights, the new Stumptown will be on the opposite side of Downtown L.A.\u2019s Bunker Hill and Historic Core, just a few miles from the former Arts District outpost.\u00a0Angelenos can get a first taste at the grand opening on Aug. 29 between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/partiful.com\/e\/TCGj5xlRQwJ2Qi0rJ87A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">RSVPs are on\u00a0Partiful.<\/a>)\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the day, the cafe will serve its classic menu items alongside exclusive\u00a0offerings like custom Starland merchandise and limited-edition beverages, including a passion fruit espresso tonic and horchata cold foam\u00a0shakerato.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center is-style-altfont has-secondary-color has-text-color has-link-color has-xs-font-size wp-elements-2 has-lg-margin-top wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"letter-spacing:1px;text-transform:uppercase\">Scroll to continue reading<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Added Pike, \u201cWe\u00a0can\u2019t\u00a0wait to share it with the Los Angeles community.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Stumptown Coffee Roasters is\u00a0located\u00a0at 2624 N.
