The BID\u2019s territory runs along 13th and 14th streets between First and Sixth avenues as well as on Union Square East and West from 14th Street to the south side of 18th Street.<\/p>\n<p>On the office front, vacancies fell to a scant 12.9%\u00a0compared to the overall Manhattan market\u2019s roughly 15% vacancies.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50588235;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"   data-modal-image=\"40468761\" width=\"888\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/view-union-square-shop-new-138129264.jpg\" alt=\"View of Union Square and the New York City skyline from a high vantage point.\" class=\"wp-image-40468761\"\/>The Union Square Partnership has reported a breathtaking office and retail leasing frenzy in the area surrounding the park. kovgabor79 \u2013 stock.adobe.com<\/p>\n<p>Recent deals brought several prime buildings to 100% full, including 853 Broadway, 841 Broadway and 122 Fifth Ave. New leases included nonprofit Robin Hood\u2019s 53,000 square feet \u00a0at 841 Broadway; tech firm Profound\u2019s 30,000 square feet at 5-9 Union Square West; and eBay\u2019s 28,000 square feet at 122 Fifth Ave.<\/p>\n<p>Retail leases such as Uniqlo\u2019s 19,000 square-feet flagship at 860 Broadway and Nespresso\u2019s 13,000 square-foot commitment at 85 Fifth Ave. were signed as the partnership celebrated major area milestones.
