{"id":1019869,"date":"2026-08-23T22:50:17","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T22:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1019869\/"},"modified":"2026-08-23T22:50:17","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T22:50:17","slug":"fight-at-avondale-quiktrip-between-two-men-turns-deadly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1019869\/","title":{"rendered":"Fight at Avondale QuikTrip between two men turns deadly"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\"><strong>AVONDALE, Ariz.<\/strong> &#8211; A fight between two men at a QuikTrip gas station in Avondale led to a deadly shooting on Saturday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KSAZ\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-94395e58=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Avondale Police responded to a shooting at the QT located just off of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/150+N+Avondale+Blvd,+Avondale,+AZ+85323\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x872b3f1f1fc01d71:0x6d2bc303ac37d885?sa=X&amp;ved=1t:242&amp;ictx=111\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><strong>Avondale Boulevard and Van Buren Street<\/strong><\/a> at around 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 22.<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">Officers said two men were in a physical fight while in the gas pump area, when one of the men shot the other with a firearm. The man who was shot was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. The shooter was taken to another hospital with non-life-threatening injuries from the fight.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KSAZ\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-94395e58=\"\">What we don&#8217;t know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-94395e58=\"\">While the two men knew each other, their exact relationship is unknown.
