Heather Boyd had spent years building a life that looked, on the surface, like classic suburban success \u2014 a husband, four children and a promising career.<\/p>\n
She also had a secret.<\/p>\n
The \u201cDouble Lives of Suburban Wives\u201d star\u00a0exclusively told Fox News Digital\u00a0that her hidden adult-content business ultimately cost her the corporate job she had worked hard to build \u2014 a blowup she admits she saw coming but never wanted.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was actually fired for the adult content,\u201d Boyd said.<\/p>\n
The revelation is at the center of\u00a0TLC\u2019s new reality series<\/a>, which follows six St. Louis-area couples juggling marriages, children and conventional careers while making money creating adult content.<\/p>\n The risqu\u00e9 reality star told Fox News Digital she had been struggling with her physical appearance after having her youngest child.<\/p>\n \u201cI was losing confidence because I had had my last kid and my body had changed so much,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n At 37, Boyd has four kids, a husband who works for a milk company and a house she describes as \u201cnoisy and chaotic all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n Heather Boyd in \u201cDouble Lives of Suburban Wives.\u201d The mom of four hid a racy double life for years. TLC\/Warner Bros.<\/p>\n For six years, Boyd has maintained a hidden adult-content career under the name \u201cHella Hot Wife.\u201d<\/p>\n Her family \u2014 including the mother-in-law who lives with them \u2014 had no idea.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s hard to keep a double life,\u201d Boyd said.<\/p>\n Her spouse, Shawn,\u00a0made a proposal to boost her morale.<\/p>\n \u201cMy husband actually had talked about starting an X account for us and just posting some pictures and that was going to be all in fun,\u201d Boyd said.<\/p>\n Then one post took off.<\/p>\n \u201cHe started the X\u2026 we posted a picture and, like overnight, it had over 1,000 likes,\u201d Boyd recalled.<\/p>\n \u201cI took it over,\u201d she said. \u201cI was having a lot of fun just posting it for free.\u201d<\/p>\n Someone reached out with a referral link to an\u00a0adult-content platform<\/a>, she explained to Fox News Digital.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I was like, \u2018We could really try this,\u2019\u201d Boyd said. \u201cLike what if we actually were able to make a little bit of money off of this?\u201d<\/p>\n
