NBC will bring the laughs, the drama and everything in between during the 2025-2026 television season. The peacock network announced July 28 dates for the premieres of its shows for the upcoming season.<\/p>\n

The season officially gets underway Sept. 22 with the return of \u201cThe Voice,\u201d<\/a> with coaches Michael Bubl\u00e9, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg. The Zachary Quinto drama \u201cBrilliant Minds\u201d<\/a> will launch its sophomore season later that night.<\/p>\n

Before that, though, the NFL season will kick off with a pair of games. On Sept. 4, \u201cFootball Night in America\u201d will return, followed by the new season\u2019s first game<\/a> when the Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to defend their Super Bowl title<\/a> by hosting the Dallas Cowboys. On Sept. 7, the Baltimore Ravens will visit the Buffalo Bills in a key early season matchup.<\/p>\n

Sports will also take center stage when NBC officially welcomes the return of the NBA<\/a> on Oct. 21 with its pregame show airing before a doubleheader with teams that have yet to be determined.<\/p>\n

In a season of premieres, \u201cAmerica\u2019s Got Talent\u201d<\/a> will crown its newest champion during the Sept. 24 finale.<\/p>\n

Thursday, Sept. 25, marks the return of \u201cLaw & Order\u201d<\/a> and \u201cLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit.\u201d The fifth season of \u201cLaw & Order: Organized Crime,\u201d<\/a> which recently aired on Peacock<\/a>, will replay on NBC this time following the other two shows in the 10 p.m. ET time slot, Deadline reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Wednesday, Oct. 1, will feature the premieres of \u201cChicago Med,\u201d \u201cChicago Fire\u201d and \u201cChicago P.D.\u201d<\/p>\n

Comedy will also figure prominently this fall. Fresh off its 50th season<\/a>, \u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d will return Oct. 4, while \u201cSt. Denis Medical\u201d will launch its second season with back-to-back episodes Monday, Nov. 3. \u201cHappy\u2019s Place\u201d<\/a> will also kick off its second season Friday, Nov. 7.<\/p>\n

In addition, \u201cTonight Show\u201d star Jimmy Fallon will expand his footprint by hosting the unscripted series \u201cOn Brand with Jimmy Fallon,\u201d in which he \u201cstarts a premier marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clever, and competitive go-getters he can find,\u201d according to NBCUniversal.<\/p>\n

The drama \u201cThe Hunting Party\u201d will return to the schedule at a later date, while a two-hour \u201cWicked\u201d special<\/a>, featuring stars Cynthia Erivo<\/a> and Ariana Grande, will air Nov. 6 in honor of the upcoming movie \u201cWicked: For Good,\u201d<\/a> which will hit theaters Nov. 21.<\/p>\n
