An existing culvert on Heritage will also be replaced as part of the project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> Colleyville officials are working with the city of Euless and a developer in Euless to obtain easements for the project. The easements are located within the city of Euless. A construction timeline will be established during the bidding process, Colleyville Assistant City Manager Adrienne Lothery said.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline: <\/strong>TBD<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $500,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding sources:<\/strong> city of Colleyville, city of Euless, Tarrant County<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ongoing projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/grapevine-colleyville-southlake\/government\/660k-project-to-close-a-portion-of-grapevines-east-hudgins-street\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><strong>East Hudgins Street utility work and reconstruction<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> The project includes installing 8-inch water main lines and 8-inch sewer main lines along East Hudgins Street between Main Street and South Dooley Street. Crews will also add a curb and gutter drainage system along the road and repave it following completion of the utility work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update: <\/strong>The installation of the sewer line is mostly completed, and crews are starting to put in the water line, said John Robertson, Grapevine\u2019s assistant public works director. Utility installation should be completed in October.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> August-November<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $660,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding source:<\/strong> city of Grapevine<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/grapevine-colleyville-southlake\/transportation\/john-mccain-road-construction-to-start-jan-5-in-colleyville\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">John McCain Road bridge construction<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project: <\/strong>The project includes widening a culvert on Big Bear Creek and roadway improvements along John McCain Road. During construction, the bridge has remained closed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update: <\/strong>The project\u2019s contractor began construction on stabilizing the road\u2019s subgrade on the western end of the project in mid-August. Work on the project has been delayed because of issues related to the delivery and installation of a guardrail along the bridge, Lothery said.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> January-September<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $540,000<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding sources:<\/strong> city of Colleyville, Texas Department of Transportation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>North Carroll Avenue improvements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> The project includes six phases that have added lanes along North Carroll Avenue between Main Street and the frontage roads for SH 114. Crews have also made improvements at intersections within the corridor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update: <\/strong>Construction on the project is substantially complete, but remaining items, such as the internally illuminated street name signs and retroreflective signal backplates, are taking longer to arrive, city officials said. Once TxDOT officials inspect the intersections and approve it, the project will be finished.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Timeline:<\/strong> July 2025-September 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cost:<\/strong> $2.07 million for the entire project<\/li>\n<li><strong>Funding sources:<\/strong> city of Southlake, TxDOT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Completed projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>East Wall Street parking replacements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project:<\/strong> Construction crews are replacing existing head-in parking with parallel parking along East Wall Street between Barton Street and Jenkins Street.
