As such, Goodyear will bring new left and right side tires for the 0.875-mile lap.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIowa presents a unique challenge with the speeds and sustained loads, as well as the two different ages of asphalt on the surface,\u201d said Rick Heinrich, Goodyear NASCAR product manager. \u201cThe new race recommendation of Goodyear Racing Eagle tires for the Cup Series is ready for that challenge, as shown during the June test.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A new right side tire for the NASCAR Xfinity Series will also be used this weekend. It was tested by Christian Eckes (Chevrolet) and Dean Thompson (Toyota) also at the June test.
