The idea that the New Jersey Devils could be a fit for an aging veteran forward was actually more well received than I thought it would be when the idea was brought up yesterday. More on who, and why he\u2019s a fit below, but color me shocked that most propositions, at least via X, are typically scoffed at. But not this one.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, time is ticking on an Erik Karlsson trade. It makes me wonder about a certain Devils defenseman, too. Plus, plenty more stories outside the National Hockey Now network today.<\/p>\n
