{"id":1025289,"date":"2026-08-26T13:24:17","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T13:24:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1025289\/"},"modified":"2026-08-26T13:24:17","modified_gmt":"2026-08-26T13:24:17","slug":"galaxy-s24-series-gets-august-2026-security-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1025289\/","title":{"rendered":"Galaxy S24 series gets August 2026 security update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Samsung, after rolling out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/samsung-august-2026-security-patch-detailed\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">August 2026 security patch<\/a> to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/news\/galaxy-s26-everything-we-know\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galaxy S26<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/samsung\/galaxy-s25\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galaxy S25<\/a> series, is now rolling it out to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sammobile.com\/samsung\/galaxy-s24\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Galaxy S24<\/a> lineup.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The update is <a href=\"https:\/\/r1.community.samsung.com\/t5\/%EA%B0%A4%EB%9F%AD%EC%8B%9C-s\/s24%EB%8F%84-%EB%B3%B4%EC%95%88-%EC%97%85%EB%8D%B0%EC%9D%B4%ED%8A%B8-%EB%82%98%EC%99%94%EC%8A%B5%EB%8B%88%EB%8B%A4\/td-p\/39226722\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">live<\/a> in the brand\u2019s home country, South Korea. It is 416.16MB in size and carries firmware version <strong>S928NKSS6DZH2<\/strong> (via Samsung Community).\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The August 2026 security patch addresses 56 security issues present in the previous firmware, making the three phones more secure than before.\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We expect Samsung to release it in more regions over the next few days.
