\n\tLast year, Jimmy Kimmel threw his Emmy support behind Stephen Colbert <\/a>after CBS axed The Late Show.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe ABC host put up a billboard in LA, saying, \u201cI\u2019m voting for Stephen.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt clearly helped as Colbert picked up his first Emmy for Outstanding Talk Series last September as host of the storied CBS franchise.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, Colbert is doing the same for Kimmel, albeit slightly later in the voting window.<\/p>\n

\n\tColbert posted a video on Instagram with him seemingly sat by cliffs or \u201cthe end of the world\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s 24 hours left in Emmy voting, and if you\u2019re anything like me, you haven\u2019t even started yet. So, let\u2019s get going. First up, we have Outstanding Variety Series. Kind of a weird voting system this year, but you know, I think we can all agree that Jimmy Kimmel deserves an Emmy. I don\u2019t care if you\u2019ve never even seen his show. You know he deserves an Emmy. Besides, look how cute he is. Anyway, please consider thinking that Jimmy deserves an Emmy. I do. I love you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt comes a couple of weeks after CBS made its own Emmy push for The Late Show<\/a> with a star-studded video that featured many clips of Colbert\u2019s late-night peers including Kimmel, John Oliver, Jon Stewart, David Letterman, Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon and Andy Cohen alongside stars such as Bette Midler, Drew Barrymore, William Shatner and Oprah Winfrey.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs Colbert noted in the video, this year\u2019s voting process is slightly unusual as all five entries in the category \u2013 Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a>, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/a>, The Daily Show, Saturday Night Live and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver \u2013 all stand a chance of winning as the category has been designated as an area award, meaning that multiple shows could potentially win.<\/p>\n
