Tim Curry, the iconic actor best known for his roles as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Pennywise in IT, has died, according to multiple reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n
TMZ<\/a> was first to report the news of his death on Wednesday, August 26, after sources told them the actor died late Tuesday, August 25 in his home in Los Angeles. Curry has had a history of health issues in the past several years, notably after he suffered a stroke in 2012 which caused him to use a wheelchair after suffering brain damage,\u00a0according to PEOPLE<\/a>.<\/p>\n TMZ reported police responded to a call at Curry’s home at about 11:23 Tuesday, which PEOPLE also confirmed. The Los Angeles Police Department completed a death investigation for a male in his 80s at home in North Hollywood, according to PEOPLE.
