September\u2019s show could be a big one, as Apple may finally announce the long-rumored foldable iPhone. A photo of an apparent dummy unit indicates the foldable may have a wide form factor<\/a> that\u2019s similar to what Samsung used with the Galaxy Z Fold 8<\/a>, a phone that our reviewer Dominic Preston said \u201cfeels like the future.\u201d<\/p>\n Apple is also expected to refresh its Pro and Pro Max phones, but those are rumored to be iterative upgrades and not a big redesign like Apple announced last year<\/a>. Should past trends continue, they\u2019ll likely be called the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.<\/p>\n However Apple reportedly won\u2019t announce the base model iPhone 18 at the event<\/a> and instead introduce it next year. In 2027, Apple is also rumored to be launching an iPhone 18e and a second-generation iPhone Air.<\/p>\n
