The \u201cFull House\u201d group chat hasn\u2019t felt quite as full without Bob Saget.<\/p>\n
Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner on the ABC sitcom, said the cast\u2019s text thread has been \u201cvery quiet\u201d since Saget\u2019s death in January 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was always one of the first to say happy birthday or the first to start planning something,\u201d Sweetin, 44, told SheKnows in an interview published Tuesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n Jodie Sweetin (pictured above with Bob Saget) said the \u201cFull House\u201d cast group chat has been \u201cvery quiet\u201d since his death. Disney General Entertainment Content via Getty Images<\/p>\n Saget was found dead at age 65 in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida.<\/p>\n His cause of death was initially unclear, but authorities later determined he died from blunt head trauma<\/a> that caused a brain bleed after he accidentally hit the back of his head and went to sleep.<\/p>\n Saget played Danny Tanner, Sweetin\u2019s on-screen father, with Candace Cameron Bure and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen portraying his other daughters, D.J. and Michelle Tanner, respectively.<\/p>\n Saget, who played Sweetin\u2019s TV father, died in January 2022 at age 65. Disney General Entertainment Content via Getty Images<\/p>\n The cast, which also features John Stamos, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier, often reunites, with Sweetin saying Saget is still very much a part of their conversations.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery time we get together, there\u2019s always a moment when we\u2019re like, \u2018Bob should be here,’\u201d Sweetin told SheKnows. \u201cIt does break your heart when you get everybody together and there\u2019s one person missing.\u201d<\/p>\n Sweetin also said she loves that Saget still comes up whenever the cast gets together, adding that she\u2019s sure he would have loved it, too, since he \u201cloved the attention.\u201d<\/p>\n Sweetin said the cast still talks about Saget whenever they reunite. Now our tears flow in sadness, but also with gratitude for all the beautiful memories of our sweet, kind, hilarious, cherished Bob. He was a brother to us guys, a father to us girls and a friend to all of us.<\/p>\n \u201cBob, we love you dearly. We ask in Bob\u2019s honor, hug the people you love.
