Justin Rose and Adam Scott are two of the most highly-respected players in the professional game.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rose and Scott, both 46 years old, are still incredibly competitive in spite of their advancing years.<\/p>\n

The Englishman and the Australian began their careers at similar times, and they have both been mainstays on the PGA Tour for well over two decades now.<\/p>\n

Justin Rose<\/a> and Adam Scott<\/a> continue to produce the goods and although they may miss more cuts now than they once did, they are both still very much capable of winning on the PGA Tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Scott recently lauded Rose for his ability to win with regularity<\/a> despite his advancing years.<\/p>\n

The two close friends will play alongside one another at the Tour Championship<\/a> this week as they both look to finish off their seasons in style.<\/p>\n

Rose will tee it up with Scott at 11:12 AM local time on Thursday at the Tour Championship.<\/p>\n

The fact that they have both made the final event of the season is mightily impressive.<\/p>\n

The Englishman and the Australian are competing against players half their age and that is testament to their incredible work ethics and dedication to their trades.<\/p>\n

Rose took to his official X account<\/a> on Wednesday to share his delight that he will play the first round of the Tour Championship alongside Scott.<\/p>\n

\u201cFantastic to be back at the Tour Championship,\u201c the 2013 US Open champion said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo walk with my mate Scotty after a combined 50yrs + of sharing the fairways of professional golf together. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s great to see that we continue to play at the highest level, against the best and brightest stars on tour. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sure we\u2019ll both push as hard as possible for as long as we can. See you on the tee Thursday Scotty!\u201c<\/p>\n

PGA Tour records of Justin Rose and Adam Scott compared<\/p>\n

Rose has played 462 PGA Tour events throughout his career, making 359 cuts in the process.<\/p>\n

The Englishman has won 13 times and has recorded 120 top-10 finishes, as well as 75 top-5s.<\/p>\n

Rose also has 229 top-25 finishes to his name during his 462 starts on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Scott has made 372 cuts in 443 PGA Tour events throughout his career.<\/p>\n

The Australian has 14 PGA Tour wins to his name \u2013 one more than Rose.<\/p>\n

Scott has recorded 67 top-5 finishes, 118 top-10s, and 216 top-25s during his time on the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, they both have one major championship to their names \u2013 arguably fewer than they deserve.<\/p>\n

Justin Rose has a slight lead over Adam Scott in the career money stakes, with $78,896,373 to the Australian\u2019s $74,220,596.<\/p>\n

Both players are magnificent role models to the younger golfers out on tour, and it would be no surprise if either of them contended this week at East Lake.<\/p>\n
