His eyes shine through my children. And our blood has never broken, not even in his final moments,\u201d Brooke wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2026 We never had a \u2018big fight.\u2019 My father and I never \u2018fought.\u2019 It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 37-year-old went on to add that she and her husband, Steven Olesky, moved to Florida to be near Hogan as he grew older, and she went through almost 25 surgeries with her father until \u201call of a sudden he didn\u2019t want me at surgeries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.79785156;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36679162\" width=\"471\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2006-concert-madison-square-garden-108666770_682553.jpg\" alt=\"Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan at a Z100 event.\" class=\"wp-image-36679162\"  \/>Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan on Dec. 15, 2006. MediaPunch\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.66699219;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"36679423\" width=\"394\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/hulk-hogan-dies-age-71-108664946.jpg\" alt=\"Brooke Hogan with Hulk Hogan\" class=\"wp-image-36679423\"  \/>Brooke Hogan with Hulk Hogan Robert Bell\/INSTARimages<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything started getting covered in a thick veil,\u201d Brooke posted. \u201cIt was like there was a force field around him that I couldn\u2019t get through.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brooke went on to say that she stepped away from her father in the two years prior to his passing to \u201cprotect my heart,\u201d but that Hogan knew \u201chow deeply, how hard, and how purely I loved him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died at 71 on July 24.<\/p>\n<p>He shared Brooke and son Nick, 34, with ex-wife Linda Hogan.
