The New York Knicks<\/strong><\/a> won the NBA<\/strong><\/a> championship in June. It was the culmination of years of high hopes and broken dreams for hardcore, longtime Knicks fans and we got to see how much it meant to celebrities like Ben Stiller<\/strong><\/a>, Mariska Hargitay and Timothee Chalamet who were always seated courtside during the team’s title run.<\/p>\n

It was also pretty cool for new Knicks fans like Kylie Jenner. Jenner was also courtside for many of the Knicks’ playoff games seated next to her boyfriend, Chalamet, unless she had other engagements<\/strong><\/a>. Turns out she had a really good time as she explained on the Better Half podcast earlier this week.<\/p>\n

“I never was into it unless someone was married or dating someone,” Jenner told hosts Stas Karanikolaou and Victoria Villarroel. “Then I would watch it. I was never really into it. Sometimes if it was the Finals, I would watch. It wasn’t until I went to my first Knicks game that I fell in love. Like there’s something about the energy in the stadium and MSG and being there and it was so much fun. And then I followed them for, you know, those two seasons for then\u2026 and then to win. I mean, I’m like the luckiest Knicks fan ’cause I feel like I am a new Knicks fan and I got to see them win. Yeah. So it was cool and so fun.”<\/p>\n

Kylie Jenner’s incredible timing<\/p>\n

Who would have thought jumping on a bandwagon at the right time would be so awesome?<\/p>\n

Seriously though, what incredible timing for everyone involved. Chalamet had Jalen Brunson enter his life in 2022, then Jenner a year later. By the time he finally convinced her to go to a game, the Knicks were a perennial 50-win team and headed to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in two decades. Then a year later the Knicks won the title.<\/p>\n

If the Knicks don’t repeat like Jayson Tatum’s father thinks they can<\/strong><\/a>, it’s going to be quite a letdown next season. Someone should really prepare her for that feeling, but as a lifelong Knicks fan, Chalamet probably has that covered.<\/p>\n
