Arlington to Host Emergency Preparedness Fair September 19th <\/p>\n

Arlington residents are invited to join local emergency officials for an educational fair in recognition of National Preparedness Month.<\/p>\n

The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. September 19th at Levitt Pavilion Arlington, 100 W. Abram St. in Downtown Arlington.<\/p>\n

The free event will help residents learn how to be Weather Ready and better prepared for emergencies. Educational booths will offer practical information on:<\/p>\n

Giveaway<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first 25 guests who visit every educational booth and complete their bingo card will receive a free 72-hour emergency kit, while supplies last. Limit one kit per household.<\/p>\n

Free parking is available throughout Downtown, including the 101 Center Parking Garage, public parking along Front Street and public parking on the west side of City Hall.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Activities:<\/strong> Free children’s activities will include lawn games and a coloring station.<\/p>\n

Need a snack?<\/strong> Food trucks will be on-site with food available for purchase from Holi Frijole (Breakfast Tacos) and Tom\u2019s Traveling Coffee.<\/p>\n
