Australian Playmaker Leaves Utah to Pursue Next Opportunity<\/p>\n
SANDY, Utah (Wednesday, July 29, 2025)<\/strong> \u2013 Real Salt Lake announced that it has agreed to a mutual termination of midfielder Lachlan Brook<\/strong>\u2019s contract, ending the Australian\u2019s year-long stint in Major League Soccer.<\/p>\n Since his arrival to the Claret-and-Cobalt last August, the 24-year-old appeared in 12 MLS reg. season contests, starting three. Brook also starting in both CONCACAF Champions Cup matches this February against Costa Rican side CS Herediano, while also appearing in four games with Real Monarchs of MLS NEXT Pro.<\/p>\n Brook arrived at RSL during last year\u2019s secondary MLS transfer window from Western Sydney Wanderers at the age of 23 after a highly decorated youth career in his native Australia. On Utah soil against Mexican visitors, RSL owns an all-time 5W-6L-3T mark, including two wins and one loss in the last two Leagues Cup tournaments. Club Am\u00e9rica visited Sandy once before, falling 1-0 to RSL back in the July, 2009 \u201cXango Cup\u201d exhibition, with Claret-and-Cobalt legend Javier Morales providing the game-winner.<\/p>\n The highly-anticipated contest is available via Apple TV+ \/ MLS Season Pass, with Max Bretos<\/strong> and Brian Dunseth<\/strong> (ENG) on the call, as are Rodolfo Landeros<\/strong> and Mariano Trujillo<\/strong> (SPN).
