San Antonio Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones is outlining the city\u2019s response after severe storms and strong winds left roughly 70,000 CPS Energy customers without power Friday night.<\/p>\n
Jones said crews are working to restore power, with restoration efforts expected to continue into the weekend.<\/p>\n
The mayor said debris cleanup is also underway and residents who need assistance to call 3-1-1.<\/p>\n
As the city responds to the storm damage, libraries and park centers will serve as cooling centers Saturday during their normal operating hours. Pets will be allowed at both locations.<\/p>\n
