\u201cThe statue of Alexander Hamilton. It\u2019s not an iconic Chicago monument, but I love how random it is. He\u2019s just down the way a bit from Jefferson, and close to Goethe. I also appreciate the backstory of him being there. It\u2019s so American. I think he\u2019d be pleased. Illinois was barely thought of when Hamilton was killed, but Chicago is very Hamiltonian.\u201d
