Phoenix firefighters are investigating a structure fire that displaced a resident Saturday morning near 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.<\/p>\n
Phoenix Fire crews were dispatched around 8:15 a.m. and arrived to find a fast-moving fire burning in an alley and at the rear of a residential home. Fire officials said the flames spread to multiple utility poles and the roof of a nearby commercial building.<\/p>\n
During a search of the home, crews rescued a cat from inside and provided it with oxygen before returning it to its owner.<\/p>\n
The fire displaced a resident, who is receiving assistance through the Phoenix Fire Department’s Community Assistance Program.<\/p>\n
No injuries were reported. Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n
