{"id":103355,"date":"2025-07-29T23:51:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T23:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/103355\/"},"modified":"2025-07-29T23:51:13","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T23:51:13","slug":"development-partner-sought-for-houston-mixed-use-affordable-housing-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/103355\/","title":{"rendered":"Development Partner Sought For Houston Mixed-Use, Affordable Housing Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">The <a class=\"tag tag-47312\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bisnow.com\/tags\/harris-county\" target=\"_blank\" data-tag-id=\"47312\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Harris County<\/a> Housing Finance Corp. and <a class=\"tag tag-248\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bisnow.com\/tags\/cbre\" target=\"_blank\" data-tag-id=\"248\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">CBRE<\/a> are seeking a development partner for a mixed-use project just north of Downtown Houston.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>                        <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/1750589843_18_placeholder.png\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Placeholder\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\n      The development site of Hardy Yards at 800 Burnett St. in Houston.\n    <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Hardy Yards workforce housing project would be the redevelopment of\u00a0a 4-acre site at 800 Burnett St. in Houston\u2019s Near Northside, adding at least 200 <a class=\"tag tag-2981\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bisnow.com\/tags\/affordable-housing\" target=\"_blank\" data-tag-id=\"2981\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">affordable housing<\/a> units and 30K SF of ground-floor retail and commercial space, according to a news release.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It is part of the 11-acre Hardy Yards master plan with more phases of residential, commercial and transit-integrated development. Harris County HFC\u2019s board of directors already approved master developer\u00a0The NRP Group to build a 223-unit housing complex as Phase 1.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The HFC has now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbredealflow.com\/handler\/modern.aspx?pv=z94So9nAqNIVQ2gLy5SmS6XYSONvoVV21ZFPRIM4ABA#_top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">issued a request for qualifications<\/a>\u00a0for a Phase 2 master development partner to oversee the 200-unit affordable housing project.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The site is at the intersection of Burnett Street, North Main Street and Fulton Street, adjacent to the Metro light rail and transit station.
