She said three people have already come to her home to provide repair estimates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">\u201cThe only fortunate part is that we\u2019re safe and we\u2019re here; we are good. My kids were safe. It didn\u2019t hit the vehicles,\u201d Salazar said. \u201cEverything fell, and luckily, it was trying to miss our house, but it nicked us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Salazar said she is worried about how much storm repairs are going to cost.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">\u201cI just see dollars, like, oh my God, money, you know?\u201d Salazar said. \u201cWhere\u2019s the money gonna come from?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">On Sunday, San Antonio officials said they have already collected 24 tons of storm debris since Friday night, with cleanup efforts continuing across the city.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">The storms also turned deadly. Two people were swept away by rapidly moving floodwaters Friday night, San Antonio Police Department Acting Chief Jesse Salame said during a Sunday news conference.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Both were carried several blocks downstream before one person was able to get out of the water in the downtown area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\"><b>&gt;&gt; <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksat.com\/news\/local\/2026\/08\/29\/tracking-storm-damage-across-san-antonio-area-after-friday-night-storms\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><b>2 possible storm-related deaths; 10K+ CPS Energy customers still without power, officials say<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">On Saturday, a 46-year-old woman was found dead near Quincy Street, and a man in his 50s was found dead at Woodlawn Lake.
