{"id":1034185,"date":"2026-08-31T03:22:13","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T03:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1034185\/"},"modified":"2026-08-31T03:22:13","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T03:22:13","slug":"nb-i-5-and-part-of-nb-i-805-closed-overnight-for-construction-nbc-7-san-diego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1034185\/","title":{"rendered":"NB I-5 and part of NB I-805 closed overnight for construction \u2013 NBC 7 San Diego"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Northbound lanes of Interstate 5 and five outside lanes of northbound Interstate 805 will be closed overnight beginning Monday for restriping work connected to a $113.7 million freeway improvement project, Caltrans officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday between Torrey Hills and University City.<\/p>\n<p>The five lanes being closed on northbound I-805 are lanes three through seven. The I-5 local bypass lane will remain open for northbound traffic.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">All lanes of NB 5 and five outside lanes (Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) of NB 805 will close for striping newly paved lanes.
