Malik Nabers in pain is certainly not a sight the Giants want to see.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He provided a new worry with an apparent shoulder injury during Tuesday\u2019s practice. <\/p>\n

After blocking on a run play during team drills, Nabers stayed on the ground for a few moments before walking off the field<\/a> holding his left shoulder.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He went into the field house with head trainer Ronnie Barnes and did not return. The Giants are not overly concerned that the injury is serious, though.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nabers sat out all of OTAs and minicamp while managing a toe injury<\/a> that has been nagging him since his LSU days and which he acknowledged might eventually require surgery at some point in his career. <\/p>\n

Head coach Brian Daboll previously said they\u2019d monitor the toe injury and potentially limit his reps in training camp, but in recent days Nabers had been at full speed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nabers missed two games with a concussion last year. He also dealt with hip flexor and knee ailments along with the toe injury.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tyrone Tracy Jr. will likely see his workload decrease with the addition of fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo. Tracy has not changed his mindset, however.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cCam here is nothing but adding to what we got,\u201d Tracy said Tuesday. \u201cI think that it\u2019s a great addition to the room. If you look around our room, there\u2019s really nothing anyone can\u2019t do. We didn\u2019t add Cam just to do one thing. We added him because he\u2019s a good running back, you know what I\u2019m saying? They didn\u2019t bring me here just to do one thing. They added me because I\u2019m a good running back.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, at the end of the day, whoever\u2019s in there on third down, second down, first down, it doesn\u2019t matter what it is. You\u2019re going to produce, and that\u2019s the standard that we have in a running back room.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tracy believes their skill sets complement each other nicely.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, shoot, look at him,\u201d Tracy said. \u201cThe man\u2019s strong and powerful. I\u2019m more slippery and elusive. But at the same time, we both can catch out the backfield, we both can pass protect.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Head coach Brian Daboll commented on the deadly shooting at a Midtown office building on Monday. The shooting took place \u2014 at 345 Park Avenue \u2014 the building that houses NFL headquarters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

An NFL employee is among the wounded.\u00a0<\/p>\n
