In his Sunday article, he reiterated that these devices will only receive “fairly minor upgrades,” having previously tempered expectations earlier this month.

He did, however, share a few new details about what some of these minor upgrades may be. According to Gurman, Apple has tested both white and gray configurations of the Apple Watch Series 12’s ceramic case. Apple will also launch “many” new band colors and configurations alongside them.

            Mashable Light Speed

Another new feature Apple is reportedly testing will have the Watch’s heart-rate sensor continuously collect data, as opposed to doing so at random intervals or while you exercise. Apple’s fitness and health app software might also get an update to show “more wellness-related metrics.”

On the flip side, Apple is pushing for a bigger upgrade to both the Apple Watch and Apple Watch Ultra next year.

        SEE ALSO:

The latest Apple price hike: Apple TV streaming service

One interesting thing about this report, which we’ve mostly heard before, is its timing. Apple’s new Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra are likely to launch in a little over a week, on September 9. Surprises are unlikely this late in the game, so don’t expect massive changes for the Apple Watch devices this year.

The biggest change on this year’s Apple Watch might be the introduction of a white and/or gray ceramic…

[18
705,158,67,132,68
post-1035287","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-gadgets","tag-gadgets","tag-technology","tag-united-states","tag-unitedstates","tag-us
["GET
