{"id":1035353,"date":"2026-08-31T18:12:12","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T18:12:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1035353\/"},"modified":"2026-08-31T18:12:12","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T18:12:12","slug":"nyc-investors-grab-silicon-valley-tech-building-for-300-million-plus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1035353\/","title":{"rendered":"NYC investors grab Silicon Valley tech building for $300 million-plus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SUNNYVALE \u2014 A tech company\u2019s office building in Sunnyvale was bought for more than $300 million by investors from New York City, documents show.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bluerock.com\/company\/about-bluerock\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York-based Bluerock<\/a> paid $330.8 million for an office hub at 1133 Innovation Way, which had been the long-time headquarters of Juniper Networks, documents filed on Aug. 28 with the Santa Clara County Recorder\u2019s Office show.<\/p>\n<p>Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpe.com\/us\/en\/newsroom\/press-release\/2025\/07\/hewlett-packard-enterprise-closes-acquisition-of-juniper-networks-to-offer-industry-leading-comprehensive-cloud-native-ai-driven-portfolio.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">bought Juniper Networks<\/a> in July 2025 for $14 billion, a deal that made Juniper a subsidiary of HPE.<\/p>\n<p>A group led by HPE sold the 1133 Innovation office building to a Bluerock affiliate. HPE said the deal is a sale-leaseback agreement whereby HPE will continue to rent the 1133 Innovation office site.<\/p>\n<p>HPE still owns an adjacent office building at 1137 Innovation in the wake of the transaction, HPE spokesperson Adam Bauer said.<\/p>\n<p>The Sunnyvale acquisition will allow HPE to occupy the 1133 Innovation office building for at least two more decades due to the rental agreement signed with Bluerock.<\/p>\n<p>The lease lasts until at least 2047, county documents show.
