She\u2019s just being Miley<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Miley Cyrus mysteriously dropped her last name from her social media handles on Monday \u2014\u00a0and is now simply going by \u201cMiley.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer did not provide her followers with any explanation for the move just yet. However, she did post two new red and black photos of herself via Instagram<\/a>, pointedly captioning one of them, \u201cMILEY.\u201d<\/p>\n

It appears Cyrus, 33, is marking a new era after signing to Atlantic Records last month. She was previously with Sony Music\u2019s Columbia, as well as RCA.<\/p>\n

The singer also posted two new red and black photos of herself, captioning the pics \u201cMILEY.\u201d<\/p>\n

She has yet to announce when she\u2019s dropping her highly anticipated 10th studio album, which would mark the followup to 2025\u2019s \u201cSomething Beautiful,\u201d released last May.<\/p>\n

Cyrus did, however, talk about her new music in a Q&A for Wonderland magazine<\/a> with actress Daryl Hannah last month.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis album is a love story, but love stories are never one-dimensional. They\u2019re always layered,\u201d she shared at the time. \u201cThere is definitely a romantic thread weaving through it because, like all my records, it\u2019s a reflection of where I am in my life. But this one feels especially meaningful because this feeling has stayed with me through multiple eras.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cThat\u2019s something I hadn\u2019t really experienced before. A peaceful kind of love has become a theme across my last three records. Not just the love I share with someone else, but the love I\u2019ve found form myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cWrecking Ball\u201d singer, whose been engaged to producer Maxx Morando<\/a> since December 2025, said she went through an \u201cevolution.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce your relationship with yourself changes, every relationship around you changes too,\u201d she noted. \u201cI think this record celebrates both of those equally.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Grammy-winning singer was photographed last Tuesday heading into a Los Angeles studio<\/a> to film an upcoming project in pics obtained by Page Six. Dressed in all black, she looked somber as news that her godmother<\/a>, Dolly Parton, had died<\/a> broke just hours earlier.<\/p>\n

The \u201cHannah Montana\u201d alum shared an emotional Instagram tribute to the country music icon, who died at 80 years old after a brief battle with cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have an angel by my side. I always have. One of our last conversations was about music and metamorphosis. \ud83e\udd8b,\u201d she wrote in part. <\/p>\n

\u201cI will always love her and want to make her proud. My heart breaks for the world, her family and friends who will miss her deeply. We\u2019re in this loss together and we will see her in all of the most beautiful things.\u201d<\/p>\n
