\n\tMiley Cyrus<\/a> has announced her new album \u201cBass Persuades,\u201d releasing on September 18 via Atlantic Records.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a post announcing the album on Instagram, Cyrus shared her mission statement for \u201cBass Persuades.\u201d \u201cMusic takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong,\u201d she wrote. \u201cHeart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That\u2019s what the title means to me. Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe tracklist for the album was revealed on Spotify, counting 10 tracks and features from Model\/Actriz and Miike Snow\u2019s Andrew Wyatt. (See the full tracklist below.)<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus will also make a rare return to the stage with a two-night stint at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. She\u2019ll perform at the historic venue on October 16 and 18, and according to her Instagram post announcing the gigs, it appears as though she\u2019ll be performing \u201cBass Persuades\u201d in full. Model\/Actriz is slated to join Cyrus at the shows as a special guest.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been a while,\u201d said Cyrus of the shows on Instagram. \u201cThe Hollywood Bowl is my favorite place to experience music and see my favorite artists. I\u2019ve sat in those seats many times, but I\u2019ve never taken the stage. LA is my heart and I\u2019m bringing it home. See you there. \u2764\ufe0f Miley.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTickets for the Bowl shows will be available with an Amex presale on September 8 at 10 a.m. PT. Cyrus\u2019 own presale begins September 9 at 10 a.m. PT, and there will also be a Reserved option from Spotify where top fans will have tickets set aside for purchse before they\u2019re available to the public. General onsale begins on September 10 at 10 a.m. PT.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer teased the album announcement on Sunday by purchasing a wrap-around cover of the Los Angeles Times featuring just her first name and her face, and by updating her website <\/a>with the same image. She appears to have dropped her last name from her artist name and is going by simply Miley, at least for this cycle, as she is referred to as just Miley in a press release.<\/p>\n

\n\tVariety recently confirmed that the singer\u00a0has signed with Atlantic Records <\/a>after releasing two albums on Columbia, including including \u201cEndless Summer Vacation\u201d which featured her Grammy-winning smash \u201cFlowers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cyrus \u2014 who\u00a0appeared on the cover of\u00a0Variety\u00a0<\/a>earlier this year \u2014 spoke in general terms about the next chapter of her musical career in a recent issue of Wonderland. \u201cFor me, a song isn\u2019t just chords, melody, and lyrics. It\u2019s a feeling,\u201d she said in a discussion with actor Darryl Hannah. \u201cIt\u2019s not right or wrong like an answer. It\u2019s alive. It almost becomes its own little entity that tells you what it needs if you\u2019re listening. I love making records with people who aren\u2019t precious about ideas. Everyone is there because they\u2019re excited by the same thing. There\u2019s no ego in the room when it\u2019s working. Just curiosity. It\u2019s really special to be surrounded by people who want to surprise each other and are comfortable throwing an idea away or expanding on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Asked by Hannah about her favorite part of making music, Cyrus replied, \u201cI love feeling aligned with my purpose, my power, and my gifts. I feel closest to something bigger than myself when records flow through me. It\u2019s almost impossible to describe. It\u2019s like waking up from a dream you can still feel in your body even though you can\u2019t fully explain it logically. Songwriting feels like crossing over to another side sometimes. A new song can feel like I\u2019ve already heard it before. Even if it isn\u2019t finished yet, I somehow know exactly what it is, almost like I\u2019m remembering it instead of creating it,\u201d she concluded. \u201cThat\u2019s the mystery I love.\u201d<\/p>\n
