The Canadian rock band announced<\/a> four new shows for its “Fifty Something” tour, including an Oct. 1 stop at Toyota Center in Houston. The show lands just after Sept. 23 and 25 dates in San Antonio.<\/p>\n

The tour already came to the Lone Star State for four shows at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena in June and July. It’s the band’s first tour in more than a decade and its first without longtime drummer Neil\u00a0Peart, who died in 2020. Longtime members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are touring alongside drummer\u00a0Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold through April 2027.<\/p>\n

“The reboot wasn’t flawless, but it proved remarkably true to Rush’s spirit,”\u00a0The Dallas Morning News wrote<\/a> of the June 26 show that opened the Fort Worth run.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The band had been scheduled to perform there on June 24 but\u00a0postponed<\/a> because of “unforeseen travel and border-related delays” following two shows in Mexico City. The June 24 show was originally rescheduled for July 2 but was later moved again to July 13 after Lee became ill.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tickets to the four added shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time on the band’s website<\/a>, according to the announcement.
