Larry Crowson says the large truck hauling the gravel tried to take the exit ramp from the Eastex Freeway onto the westbound lanes of the North Loop when it tipped over and lost its load.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 etvbxt font_openSans articleList\">\n<li class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Stack-vJ7SwH7U__StackBase-sc-1m5bkhd-0 evEXvX dsnUCb\"\/><\/ul>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Along with the gravel, Crowson said a pole fell from the truck and impaled another truck below through the windshield. Thankfully, Crowson said the driver inside was not hurt, just really shaken up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">The highway is currently closed in both directions as crews work to clean up the spill and clear the scene.
