Newcastle United are reportedly leading Manchester United in the race to sign Benjamin Sesko, as they can offer him Champions League football.<\/p>\n

Newcastle United<\/strong><\/a> are reportedly leading the race to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Premier League rivals Manchester United<\/strong><\/a> are also in the race to sign the 22-year-old striker, but they need to generate money through player sales to fund the move for the Slovenian.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After missing out on Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool, Newcastle could reportedly lose their talisman striker, Alexander Isak<\/a><\/strong>, to the Premier League champions.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In case the deal goes through, Newcastle will have money burning a hole in their pockets to sign at least two strikers, and Sesko could be one of them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to a report from The Telegraph<\/a>, Sesko rates Newcastle as\u00a0his most likely destination ahead of United, although the Red Devils are still not out of the race.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Eddie Howe<\/strong><\/a> would like to sign two strikers after allowing\u00a0Callum Wilson to leave. The Magpies have reportedly targeted\u00a0Yoane Wissa<\/strong><\/a>, but\u00a0Brentford have been holding out for a deal worth \u00a340m.<\/p>\n
