As a newbie to the smartwatch world, here\u2019s how I found my first run with the <a href=\"https:\/\/link.amazon\/B07XPxb8t\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\">Withings ScanWatch 2<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/7ddc9fa214aa7632c17c67ee4ccb2fffa8f66ea97da86722674f92a9a2c7013d.jpeg\"  width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"_0b53bae146db0b62 _7475dd3391ee1518\" style=\"--text-color:var(--color-text-secondary)\">The Withings ScanWatch2 was my trusty companion during this year\u2019s City2Surf race.\u00a0Patrick Brischetto<\/p>\n<p>Design<\/p>\n<p>The first thing that impresses me when I open the box is how sleek and modern the watch looks and feels.<\/p>\n<p>The clock face is clean and easy to read, and the display, with a domed hybrid dial and embedded PMOLED screen, isn\u2019t intrusive.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Withings ScanWatch 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/ff70cda660ac17a11c187dc39d3fdf92fdd44d91d30936e7f616dad6482d9799.png\"  width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"_0b53bae146db0b62 _7475dd3391ee1518\" style=\"--text-color:var(--color-text-secondary)\">The ScanWatch 2 has a sleek build that doesn\u2019t look out of place as an everyday watch.\u00a0Withings<\/p>\n<p>I normally wear a silver metal watch to work or to fancier events, and one reason I haven\u2019t opted for a smartwatch before is its less polished look.<\/p>\n<p>However, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withings.com\/en-au\/products\/scanwatch-2-42b\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\">Withings ScanWatch 2<\/a> would not look out of place in the corporate world with its stainless steel finish and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass.<\/p>\n<p>The rubber strap may be a step-down from luxury, but it still blends in.<\/p>\n<p>Bear in mind, the watch isn\u2019t a touchscreen; instead, you control the scroll-down display with a bezel on the right-hand side of the watch.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/link.amazon\/B07XPxb8t\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\">Withings ScanWatch 2<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Withings ScanWatch 2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/c6b7acb605eaf8985427884574ec8c135df60d91f18b1038981b3f8d38f287ab.png\"  width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"_0b53bae146db0b62 _7475dd3391ee1518\" style=\"--text-color:var(--color-text-secondary)\">Withings ScanWatch 2\u00a0Withings<\/p>\n<p>Health features<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withings.com\/en-au\/products\/scanwatch-2-42b\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"sc-ZStEl fijHCo\">ScanWatch 2<\/a> has an incredible depth of fitness and health tracking options.<\/p>\n<p>It has a heart-rate monitor, step tracker, and sleep monitor, but also carries out ECG checks, and can even track the amount of oxygen-carrying haemoglobin in your blood.<\/p>\n<p>It monitors your steps through the Withings app on your phone even if you aren\u2019t wearing the watch, so you don\u2019t have to stress about losing track.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/cc703f4b0e3798634d844abfc0f2236bc5d4a87e08521439f3326513d3e1b670.jpeg\"  width=\"100%\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"_0b53bae146db0b62 _7475dd3391ee1518\" style=\"--text-color:var(--color-text-secondary)\">Some of the advanced health monitoring options on offer in the Withings app.\u00a0Patrick Brischetto<\/p>\n<p>All of the health features are easily accessible to activate on the watch, with the data directly sent to the app.<\/p>\n<p>The watch syncs to your phone, where you can see incoming text messages and calls, though you do not get social media alerts.<\/p>\n<p>You can subscribe to Withings+ to unlock another layer of health and fitness monitoring and tracking;
