Sean Ono Lennon, the child of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, welcomed his first child into the world.<\/p>\n
Ono Lennon, 50, and his longtime partner Charlotte Kemp Muhl, 39, announced the birth of their baby boy Tuesday evening, sharing photos of their new family on social media.<\/p>\n
\u201cOkay so\u2026Charlotte and I would like to announce that we have indeed created a Human Bean!\u201d Sean wrote on Instagram<\/a> Tuesday evening. \u201cHis name is, Aurelius! Thank you!\u201d<\/p>\n Sean Ono Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl announced the birth of their baby boy, Aurelius.<\/p>\n Sean also shared a photo<\/a> of himself holding Aurelius, who was wrapped in a white blanket, as well as a photo<\/a> of Kemp Muhl with their son in a hospital bed.<\/p>\n \u201cBaby Momma!\u201d he captioned the latter.<\/p>\n Kemp Muhl, a musician and model, also shared photos<\/a> from the early days of parenthood, including images of herself carrying Aurelius in a baby harness while walking in the water, holding a small crab and looking after their sleeping newborn.<\/p>\n \u201cWe made a human! Meconium is crazy,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Julian Lennon, John Lennon\u2019s eldest son with his first wife Cynthia, reacted to the news on Instagram<\/a> with four heart emojis \u2014 to which Sean responded \u201cUncle Jules!\u201d<\/p>\n Aurelius, pictured here with Sean, is John Lennon\u2019s first grandchild and Yoko Ono\u2019s third.<\/p>\n Sean is the only child of John Lennon and Yoko Ono. He was born in Manhattan on his father\u2019s 35th birthday on Oct. 9, 1975, just over five years before the legendary \u201cBeatles\u201d rocker was killed on Dec. 8, 1980<\/a>.<\/p>\n John Lennon was killed the same year he and Ono released \u201cDouble Fantasy,\u201d which included \u201cBeautiful Boy (Darling Boy),\u201d the song he wrote for Sean about fatherhood and watching his son grow up.<\/p>\n Sean and Kemp Muhl met at Coachella in 2005 and began dating in 2007.<\/p>\n John Lennon after the birth of his son, Sean, in 1975.<\/p>\n They have also worked together on several music projects, including their band the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger.<\/p>\n Sean has continued his parents\u2019 musical legacy, releasing four solo albums, five albums with Ono, 93, and three with the psychedelic rock band the Claypool Lennon Delirium.<\/p>\n He has also worked as a producer, including on Lana Del Rey\u2019s 2017 album \u201cLust for Life,\u201d which features their duet \u201cTomorrow Never Came.\u201d<\/p>\n
