The Scottsdale-based Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation has opened the application window for its 2027 grant cycle, with grants ranging from $5,000 to $30,000 available to organizations serving underserved and uninsured Arizonans through programs focused on oral health, medical-dental integration, food insecurity and for the first time, vision.<\/p>\n
Eligible programs may include oral health education, disease prevention and access to dental care; programs that integrate oral health with medical care; food banks, after-school and weekend food programs for children and senior food delivery programs; and vision education, prevention and treatment programs, according to a press release from the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation.<\/p>\n
Eligible applicants for the 2027 grant cycle include 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing with the Arizona Corporation Commission. Public schools, federally recognized Indian tribes and governmental entities are also eligible. Organizations may apply for grants in four program areas: oral health, medical-dental integration, food insecurity and vision.<\/p>\n

In 2026, the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation awarded $838,372 in grants to 37 nonprofit organizations that work with underserved populations of all ages through oral health and nutritional programs.<\/p>\n
Applications are due Thursday, Oct. 8 by 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
