\u201cGentlemen\u201d star Theo James chimed in on the Meghan Markle casting buzz<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When asked about recent rumors that an ex-royal may join Season 3 of the Netflix show, the actor told Town & Country<\/a>, \u201cYes, Fergie is joining.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cDivergent\u201d star, 41, quipped on Wednesday that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor\u2019s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, would \u201cbe playing [his] love interest.\u201d<\/p>\n

Theo James (seen above in \u201cThe Gentlemen\u201d) weighed in on Meghan Markle\u2019s potential casting in \u201cThe Gentlemen.\u201d NETFLIX<\/p>\n

James went on to call the speculation \u201cmainly a lot of hot air.\u201d<\/p>\n

He told the outlet, \u201cAt the moment, we\u2019re just trying to get as many eyes on Season 2, and then Season 3 will happen soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

The second season of the show will premiere Thursday \u2014 and Page Six recently confirmed the series, which first aired in March 2024, has been renewed for a third installment.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, James opened up about Guy Ritchie\u2019s action-comedy series\u2019 \u201coverarching ambition\u201d for future episodes.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to expand the world, go to different countries,\u201d the Emmy nominee said. \u201cBut in terms of the minutiae, I mean, it\u2019s still very much up in the air.\u201d<\/p>\n

Markle\u2019s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n

One week before the \u201cWhite Lotus\u201d alum\u2019s cryptic comments about Markle, Netflix boss Manda Levin fueled chatter<\/a> about the Duchess of Sussex.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll bets are off,\u201d she said at the Edinburgh TV Festival in August when questioned.<\/p>\n

Deadline reported last month that Markle was being considered for an unknown role, with the Hollywood Reporter claiming the role \u201cis currently being written.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outlet noted, \u201cIt\u2019s unclear how many episodes [Markle] would appear in.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source told us that while \u201cthere have been inquiries in the entertainment space<\/a> recently and things she is considering,\u201d nothing is \u201cconfirmed right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Gentlemen\u201d films in and around London \u2014 and Markle just relocated to the United Kingdom from her Montecito, California, mansion<\/a> with husband Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie<\/a> and Princess Lilibet<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The family of four landed across the pond<\/a> on Aug. 26, six years after the \u201cSuits\u201d actress, 45, and Harry, 41, quit the royal family<\/a> and left England.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re told the retired royals returned to be closer to King Charles III<\/a>, who has been diagnosed with cancer<\/a>, and are reportedly house hunting in the North Cotswolds<\/a>.<\/p>\n
