When Saboten Con returns to downtown Phoenix over Labor Day weekend, local anime fans won\u2019t be the only ones geeking out.<\/p>\n

The event is Arizona\u2019s largest anime convention, attracting more than 50,000 people for a four-day celebration of anime, manga and Japanese pop culture at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel from Sept. 4 to 7.<\/p>\n

This year, Saboten Con is expanding its gaming experience. SaboSlam, a sister event at the nearby Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel, will feature more tournaments, programming, vendors and activities.<\/p>\n

The convention\u2019s main attractions remain anime-focused, though, with fan panels, concerts, cosplay and more than three dozen voice actors scheduled to appear. Here\u2019s everything to know about Saboten Con 2026.<\/p>\n

When is Saboten Con 2026?<\/p>\n

Saboten Con 2026 runs Friday through Monday, Sept. 4 to 7, and celebrates anime, manga, gaming and Japanese pop culture across four days.<\/p>\n

Saboten Con location<\/p>\n

Saboten Con takes place at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, 340 N. Third St., which hosts the vendor hall, artist alley, guest appearances, concerts and cosplay programming. The Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel, 100 N. First St., hosts SaboSlam and other gaming-focused programming.<\/p>\n

Both hotels offer badge registration to help reduce wait times during the convention.<\/p>\n
