\n\tMiley Cyrus is setting off her new era<\/a> with the release of the single and video for \u201cBass Persuades,\u201d the title track off her upcoming 10th album.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBass Persuades\u201d goes full dance-pop with tinges of \u201980s synths and a spoken-word first verse that recalls the deadpan delivery of Lady Gaga on \u201cPoker Face.\u201d \u201cStep into the scene you won\u2019t catch an eye \/ Walk into the party like the party is mine,\u201d she commands. \u201cPaving over pastures \u2019cause horses are gone \/ Forgetting there\u2019s a world when this is record is on.\u201d The record decidedly guns for the dance floor, not far off from the spirit of \u201cSomething Beautiful\u201d cuts \u201cWalk of Fame\u201d or \u201cEvery Girl You\u2019ve Ever Loved.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus also released the video for the song, which can be viewed below:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus recently announced that \u201cBass Persuades\u201d will be released on September 18 via Atlantic Records. This marks her first project as part of her recently minted deal Atlantic, which comes after two albums on Columbia including \u201cEndless Summer Vacation\u201d and \u201cSomething Beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFor \u201cBass Persuades,\u201d which features 10 tracks, Cyrus appeared to drop her last name to go mononomously this era. Earlier this week, she revealed the title and cover art for the album, explaining her mission statement on social media: \u201cMusic takes hold of us. We feel it, sing it, sometimes dance to it, let it out and carry on. It is powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong,\u201d she wrote. \u201cHeart full, heartache, every part of life in between. That\u2019s what the title means to me. Thank you for being a part of making my wildest dreams come true. I sincerely hope you love this album.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCyrus also announced her grand return to the stage with a pair of shows at Los Angeles\u2019 Hollywood Bowl on October 16 and 18.
