The Camp Verde Marshal\u2019s Office said a man and woman used another person\u2019s information to get a Tractor Supply credit account and buy a $4,200 Toro zero-turn mower on Aug. 10. They also allegedly rented a trailer to transport the mower and did not return it. <\/p>\n
Investigators looked at surveillance footage and saw the suspects leaving in a dark-colored Jeep Wagoneer that was towing the rental trailer, the marshal\u2019s office said. <\/p>\n
Authorities used automated license plate readers to find the Jeep headed south on Interstate 17. They ran the plate of the Jeep, which was rented, and identified the suspects as Christerful Ray Bryant Jr., 36, and Fatuma Salim, 30, both of Phoenix.<\/p>\n

The marshal\u2019s office said video from the Tractor Supply store further connected these two suspects to the fraud incident. <\/p>\n
Investigators found Bryant in the Valley on Aug. 21, and he was taken into custody near 19th Street and Broadway Road.<\/p>\n
When searching Bryant\u2019s vehicle, investigators reportedly found the Camp Verde Tractor Supply<\/a> rental agreement and receipts, as well as several documents that connected him to other fraudulent transactions in Arizona and California. <\/p>\n Bryant was booked in Yavapai County on charges that include identity theft, fraudulent schemes, forgery and criminal impersonation. <\/p>\n This is still an ongoing investigation. The marshal\u2019s office said authorities are looking for the stolen trailer and mower, while also trying to find any connected fraud cases. <\/p>\n Anyone with information on the trailer, mower or additional fraud cases is asked to contact the Camp Verde Marshal\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n See a spelling or grammatical error in our story?
