For savory items, look for meatball banh mi, Vietnamese crepes, and summer rolls, along with coffee and tea drinks.<\/p>\n<p>The McNally son ventures into the restaurant world<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph u67w0ti va4xi81 va4xi80 e8cira1\">Keith McNally\u2019s son, George, opens his Tribeca restaurant, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/fauxnewyork_\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Faux,<\/a> on Thursday, September 3, at 277 Church Street, between White and Franklin streets. McNally (the son) knows the restaurant life well, having worked at his father\u2019s spots like Balthazar and the D.C. location of Minetta Tavern. Faux\u2019s chef Kristina Ramos (who worked at Minetta in D.C.) is cooking up a coastal French menu, with highlights including broiled oysters and steak frites. The ground-floor restaurant includes a downstairs bar, Prevz, with late-night food and a bouncer. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opentable.com\/r\/faux-new-york\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Book restaurant reservations on OpenTable<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Buy stellar baked goods for a good cause<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph u67w0ti va4xi81 va4xi80 e8cira1\">Expert baker Natasha Pickowicz is hosting a community bake sale this weekend to raise money for Queens nonprofit <a href=\"https:\/\/maketheroadny.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Make the Road New York<\/a>. Our Little Bake Sale features chefs like Pickowicz herself, Zo\u00eb Kanan of Elbow Bread, Morgan Knight of Saint Street Cakes, Flynn McCarry of Cove, Ali Domrongchai, and many others.
