{"id":1043536,"date":"2026-09-04T20:19:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-04T20:19:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1043536\/"},"modified":"2026-09-04T20:19:24","modified_gmt":"2026-09-04T20:19:24","slug":"how-to-save-money-on-2026-state-fair-of-texas-tickets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/1043536\/","title":{"rendered":"How to save money on 2026 State Fair of Texas tickets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fairgoers have several ticket options they can choose from, including free tickets for some Dallas teens, discounted tickets on specific days and flexible passes that can be used during the fair\u2019s 24-day run from Sept. 25 to Oct. 18.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Taylor Pulfer, State Fair of Texas director of communications, said in a statement the nonprofit has focused on providing more flexibility and value for tickets to help fairgoers choose what works best for them.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re always looking for ways to make a day at the State Fair of Texas accessible to as many Texans as possible while continuing to deliver the experience fairgoers expect when they walk through our gates,\u201d Pulfer said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fairgoers can buy tickets in person starting Sept. 25 at the gate or anytime <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/state-fair\/article\/2026-state-fair-texas-tickets-on-sale-22410926.php\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">online<\/a>, with a $2 online processing fee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dallas teenagers aged 13-17 can claim free tickets to the State Fair of Texas through a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/sports\/mavericks\/article\/mavericks-state-fair-of-texas-tickets-how-to-get-22415416.php\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">partnership<\/a> with the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Park &amp; Recreation.<\/p>\n<p>The free tickets are available for pickup at any Dallas Recreation Centers while supplies last.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The State Fair has several options to help give attendees discounted admission.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Every Wednesday, State Fair attendees can get in for $7 if they bring five canned food items for the <a href=\"https:\/\/ntfb.org\/?utm_campaign=rkd-fy27-evergreen&amp;utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;gad_source=1&amp;gad_campaignid=1551568297&amp;gbraid=0AAAAAC8N3LhMECrlt2a6h9W4E75v698tF&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjw2OnUBhC2ARIsACKyfaF8D1DrnhiX6zzuSpGya7w_3jzsEfl-Qvq2b5yS511CbiXwN7dN3okaAv-wEALw_wcB\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">North Texas Food Bank<\/a>. Pulfer said the partnership with NTFB has been a \u201clongtime fair tradition\u201d to support North Texans facing food insecurity.<\/p>\n<p>Attending the fair after 5 p.m. can also provide a discounted rate, with tickets ranging from $10-20 for adults and seniors. Children ages 3-12 remain at $10 regardless of the date or time of entry.<\/p>\n<p>Some fairgoers may qualify for additional admission discounts. Military service members and first responders can get a $5 discount on their admission any day, with valid identification.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, seniors can enter the fair for $7 every Thursday, according to the State Fair.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees can also purchase one-day flex tickets to attend any single day of the fair, which are available for $27 each before fees. For example, an attendee can purchase a flex ticket on Sept. 25 but use that ticket to attend the fair on Oct 3.<\/p>\n<p>The State Fair also offers the option to buy flex tickets in a pack of two or four.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Season passes are now available online, giving attendees access to the fair for its full 24-day run.
