JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Two people were shot early Saturday in the 1200 block of Cesery Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:04 a.m. after reports that two people had been shot, said Sgt. J. Moore of JSO\u2019s Robbery and Violent Crime Unit. <\/p>\n
The victims are currently being treated for their injuries, Moore said.<\/p>\n
No suspect has been identified. Investigators recovered several shell casings at the scene, and the JSO Crime Scene Unit is processing evidence. <\/p>\n
Detectives with the Robbery and Violent Crime Unit are interviewing witnesses, canvassing for surveillance video and following up on leads, Moore said.<\/p>\n
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and detectives are still working to determine whether the victims and the suspect knew each other. <\/p>\n
