The IDF struck Hezbollah terrorists and infrastructure in Lebanon after the terrorist organization launched a drone towards Israeli soldiers this weekend, the military said on Saturday.<\/p>\n

According to the IDF, the soldiers shot down the drone<\/a> after it was spotted approaching them on Friday.<\/p>\n

No IDF soldiers<\/a> were injured in the attack, which was described by the military as a “blatant violation” of the ceasefire agreement.<\/p>\n

The military noted that the soldiers were in the IDF’s security zone in southern Lebanon when the drone attack occurred.<\/p>\n

As part of the retaliation strikes on Saturday, the IDF struck weapon storage facilities intended to be used by Hezbollah to plan terror attacks against IDF soldiers in the Security Zone and Israeli civilians, the military said.<\/p>\n

“The mission was completed, and the tunnels were cleared of terrorists,” said Katz at the time, with an IDF statement on the operation noting that several terrorists embedded in the tunnels were killed, while others fled.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Iran warned the United States that it would respond forcefully to any Israeli attack on the Ali al-Taher ridge complex, which provides a strategic vantage point due to its position overlooking a wide area.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will destroy all national, military, and civilian infrastructure in Iran, including energy infrastructure,\u201d Katz threatened during a speech to Defense Ministry employees. \u201cWe will return Iran to the Stone Age.\u201d<\/p>\n
