{"id":104532,"date":"2025-07-30T10:13:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-30T10:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/104532\/"},"modified":"2025-07-30T10:13:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-30T10:13:10","slug":"207th-royal-st-johns-regatta-a-go","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/104532\/","title":{"rendered":"207th Royal St. John\u2019s Regatta a Go"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/royal-st-johns-regatta-2021-js.jpg\" class=\"header-image\" alt=\"207th Royal St. John's Regatta a Go\"\/>\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a holiday in St. John\u2019s as the Regatta Committee decided to go with the weather conditions presented to them today by Mother Nature.<\/p>\n<p>Winds will be from the southwest 20-40 km\/h under sunny skies with cloudy periods and warm temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>The first race, the Men\u2019s Amateur, goes at 8:00 with the two championship races at 6:30 and 7:00.<\/p>\n<p>Keith White, captain of the course and vice-president, says it has been one busy period with the event being moved up one week because of the Canada Summer Games.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2023-regatta-races.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-215619 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2023-regatta-races.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"400\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He says they have a few ATMs on site and Metrobus will offer a shuttle service from three locations. The fare is one-dollar but the correct change is required.<\/p>\n<p>President of the Royal St. John\u2019s Regatta, Ashley Peach, says they\u2019re looking forward to a grand day for both rowers and spectators.<\/p>\n<p>All information on the teams, races, transportation, vendors and fun and games can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/stjohnsregatta.ca\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">regatta website<\/a>.
