In an emotional Instagram post, Ditchfield said the time she spent with her sons and partner Aaron Summers had been \u201cthe hardest, most heartbreaking, yet most magical 9 days\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy boys both took their final breaths in the arms of me and their daddy,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no greater privilege, and no greater pain, than holding your children as they leave this world.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey gave us the most precious week of our lives. A week I would live over and over again, just to have those moments with them.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo hold them. To look at them. To love them. To be their mummy and daddy.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy boys are together again now, just as they should be, and I pray with all my heart that they are finally at peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
The boys, born at 23 weeks and five days, were cared for in a neonatal intensive care unit.<\/p>\n
Announcing their arrival at the time, Ditchfield wrote:<\/p>\n
\u201cOn 26.08.26, our two beautiful boys, Georgie & Marley Summers, entered the world at just 23 weeks + 5 days.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe last few days have been some of the scariest, most surreal and emotional moments of our lives,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur tiny boys may be incredibly small, but they have already shown us just how incredibly strong they are.<\/p>\n
\u201cBoth Aaron and I cannot thank the care team enough for everything they have done for us \u2014 not just during the boys\u2019 arrival, but throughout the time leading up to it too.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ditchfield appeared on the 2024 season of Married At First Sight UK, partnered with groom Alex Henry.<\/p>\n
She has been dating Summers since early 2025 and has two children, Daisy, 12, and Dec, 16. <\/p>\n
