Enes Kanter Freedom keeps insisting he has hopes of one day playing basketball in the WNBA, and it appears he already knows what team he wants to play for.<\/p>\n

Appearing recently as a guest on Fox News, Freedom said he hopes he gets drafted<\/a> by the Indiana Fever so that he can play alongside Caitlin Clark, as he believes they will be the \u201cmodern-day Shaq and Kobe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it might be really good for them because I will be playing in the 2027 season, and I will be the best draft pick the WNBA has ever seen,\u201d Freedom said.<\/p>\n

He said his goal is to break Wilt Chamberlain\u2019s 100-point record, as he will be \u201cdunking everything in the name of equality.\u201d<\/p>\n

Freedom\u2019s appearance on Fox News came a day after it was revealed he is planning to sue the Chicago Sky after he claims he was mistreated<\/a> when he was ejected from a WNBA game against the Fever<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are mad at me. People are calling me a misogynist,\u201d Freedom said. \u201c\u2026 I\u2019m simply following the rules. If they want to come out and change the rules, I will gladly be the first one to follow.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the past month, Freedom has been facing backlash after announcing he was declaring for the WNBA draft as a transgender player<\/a>, as the league\u2019s Collective Bargaining Agreement does not properly define the term \u201cwomen\u201d nor specify anything about biological sex, hormone levels or physical attributes, deeming him eligible to join the league.<\/p>\n

Last month, Freedom was publicly called out by Sparks star Cameron Brink<\/a> as she called him a \u201cstupid piece of s\u2014t.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the WNBA has no players who consider themselves transgender, Brink went on to say that Freedom is making an issue out of something that is considered a \u201cnon-issue.\u201d<\/p>\n
