Pedro Pascal<\/a> has talked about his love of The Cure<\/a> in a new interview, the latest of many instances where he has shown his affection for the goth icons.<\/p>\n

During a BBC interview promoting his new film The Fantastic Four: First Steps<\/a>, the actor was asked about his fondness for the band and if there is one song from their back catalogue he would like to have played on the radio. His immediate answer was their 1987 classic \u2018Just Like Heaven\u2019.<\/p>\n

Later in the interview, he is asked if he ever went through a goth phase. \u201cI didn\u2019t. I wish I had, I guess I just didn\u2019t have the courage to\u201d he replied, recalling that: \u201cI was like a little theatre nerd. But I went to a school (where) all the Visual Arts kids, they all sported that look. The mascara and fingernail polish. My first club that I went to was a goth club, it was like a 16 and over night, and I went with my friend and we danced. We danced to The Cure\u201d.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not the first time the actor has been seen expressing his love for the band. Last November, while filming The Fantastic Four in the UK, he and co-star Ebon Moss-Bachrach were seen dancing at The Cure\u2019s concert at the Troxy in London.<\/p>\n

Taking to his Instagram page, Pascal posted a video of the legends playing their 1989 song \u2018Plainview\u2019, quoting the lyrics in the caption: \u201cSometimes you make me feel\/ Like I\u2019m living at the edge of the world\/ Like I\u2019m living at the edge of the world \/ \u2018It\u2019s just the way I smile,\u2019 you said\u201d.<\/p>\n

The post continued: \u201c#TheCure in #London #Plainsong (I\u2019ve waited since 1989 to see this live. Thank you @ebonmossbachrach \ud83d\udc9c)\u201d.<\/p>\n

This month, he showed his fandom at the premiere of West End hit Evita in London, wearing a t shirt that showed the cover for the song \u2018Boys Don\u2019t Cry\u2019.<\/p>\n
