But has it been enough? Or is it making a noticeable difference in workers\u2019 day-to-day lives?<\/p>\n<p>For those of you in the service and hospitality industries, we want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, legislators have raised the minimum wage significantly for workers in sectors from fast food to healthcare. Just last year, the city of San Diego mandated a higher minimum wage for those who work at hotels and event centers like Petco Park and the Civic Theatre. The graduated pay raises that went into effect July 1 and will boost hourly wages to $25 by 2030. The current citywide minimum wage is $17.75.<\/p>\n<p>If your hourly wage has gone up due to these new mandated increases, reporters from The San Diego Union-Tribune would like to hear from you.
