A Jacksonville man was arrested on domestic violence charges after a joint investigation between the Onslow County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the Marine Corps Provost Marshal\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Joshua Caleb Lanman, 24, of Baxter Street in Jacksonville, was arrested on Aug. 28 by Onslow County deputies and charged with felony assault by strangulation, misdemeanor crime of domestic violence and misdemeanor assault on a female, court records show.<\/p>\n
The arrest warrant lists Sept. 1, 2024, as the date of the alleged offenses.<\/p>\n
Detectives began investigating the allegations after Provost Marshal\u2019s Office staff notified them of a reported domestic disturbance involving Lanman at Marine Corps Air Station New River in May, according to the sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
